Be confident and compassionate. If family members you helped before refuse to assist you in a need, there is a lesson involved. Relax; people will help you. Lesson 1: See everyone as a family member. Lesson 2: Develop your psychological growth to recognize destructive actions that are intended to provoke the way you think, or disturbance caused by strong feelings, and patterns in which people behave. Replace them with healthy attitudes and behaviors! Lesson 3: Teach loving kindness by modeling a positive, powerful, and highly effective ways to nurture minds. The mind can be trained. The power of the mind can influence and shape our personal experience, impact others, and become a healing force that make a way into everyone we meet. Mental training can transform the mind by reducing disturbing emotions that cause anger, hatred, fear, worry, confusion, and doubt while enhancing positive emotions such as patience, loving-kindness, openness, acceptance, and happiness. It provides resistance to mental distress and physical disease, expands our healing capacity, and promotes well-being. (Dacher, pp. 23,& 61-63)
